i am baffled that most of the reverbs are set to less than 100% wet. i assume this is for insert/guitarists.
is there a way to globally set them to 100% wet, as is typical for a send effects unit?

Sorry - no global setting for this. I think they are intended to be tuned individually.

I find that without turning it to 100% wet, theres the "millisecond delay comb filter" sound which drives me crazy. This is because the original (dry) signal is delayed through the H8000 then mixed again through my external mixer.
This is part of the joy of digital audio. Have to either mix it on your desk with the H8000 producing 100% wet, or in the H8000 itself, where it remains digital.
But, you already know this....
