To save ports on my roctron patchmate, I was thinking about putting TF,PF, MF in-line using two inputs (stereo). when sending PC's I would always include the bypass codes on the boxes I wasnt using. Anyone see a problem with each not having its own set of I/O?

I think that would be better than using an external switcher. less cabling, fewer things to program, fewer things to go wrong. If it were me, I would probably set the first one to DSP bypass and the others to relay bypass to avoid going through 3 AD/DA conversions when they are not being used.
